Science Challenge - Wednesday 15th July

Hi year 4, Welcome to your final science challenge before the Summer holidays. I thought we'd finish with a fun one. As it has been music and dance festival week, I thought we could have a go at making a musical instrument using our knowledge of sound. Here's an example:

1. Why do the different bands make different sounds?
2. What is different about the sounds?
3. How does using a container like the one in the picture help to make the sound louder?
