For our final lesson this week you will have a go at writing a news report. Unfortunately there is no video lesson today. So here are some ideas to help you write your news article:
Firstly here's a reminder of what to include in a news article:
You have two choices of news article:
1. Write a 'made-up' news article like the articles we have looked at this week,
2. Write a real news article about something that has been in the news such as the Black Lives Matter protest.
If you have a computer or tablet you could use them to write the article, if you want. You could also set the writing out in columns with a photograph/picture and a caption like a real newspaper.
