Mrs CJ kindly sent me a link to a Quentin Blake art tutorial. Quentin Blake illustrates books, including all of the Roald Dahl Books and some David Walliams books such as Mr Stink.
In this video he demonstrates how to draw a character. Watch the video and use some of his tips to help you draw an imaginative character. He uses pastel/crayon, but you could use pencil if you don't have one.
