Before we continue our revision of the written methods this week, here is your warm up.
Missing Multiplication Squares - Find the Missing numbers
For these multiplication squares you have to think about which times tables all of the numbers in a row belong to.
For example the 1st square has a 10, 5 and 30 going across. These all belong to the 5 times table, so the missing number must be 5. Have a go at finding the other missing numbers.
Written Subtraction
Watch the following subtraction video as a reminder of how to complete written subtraction. This is exactly how we have been practising it in class.
Now try these calculations yourself:
342 - 56
453 - 246
543 - 329
577 - 398
3453 - 1567
£43.54 - £17.65
Remember to check your answers with a calculator!
