English Challenge - Wednesday 15th April (Descriptive Writing)

Good morning year 4,

Today we will practice writing descriptive using the 5 sense.

In your challenge book write down what the 5 senses are. I've done the first one and given you some clues:

Task - Using the following pictures write a really descriptive sentence using the sense above it. your could write a simile or a sentence with some interesting adjectives.

1. Sense - SMELL

Example: The delicious smell of creamy chocolate drifted into my nostrils.

2. Sense - Sight

3. Sense - Hearing

4. Sense - Touch
e.g Stickling my feet like a feather as I ran through the long grass.

5. Sense - Taste (Chilli pepper, very spicy)
